WhatsApp is the most used app all over the world. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced the Link facility to make video and audio calls. Video calls for everything, from personal to professional, With the new update, users will be able to join a WhatsApp video or audio call even after it has begun.


Links for video calls are common across apps like Zoom or Google Meet. But now popular chat app WhatsApp is also rolling out this feature so you can share a link of a call with family and friends.


Mark Zuckerberg announced the feature noting that users can now join WhatsApp calls through this link with a single tap. He also mentioned that the company is now testing 32-person encrypted video calls.



Users will find the option to create a video link under the calls tab. Once the link is created, they can share it with friends and family to join the video call.


He also said that this video calling facility can be used as End to End Encrypted Call. But he did not announce when the facility will be rolled out.

These new features have made Whatsapp on par with Apple's Facetime. If more than 32 people connect during the use of this facility, the person who initiated this video call facility can decide who should be in this connection and who should not be. 

Earlier this month, WhatsApp released features such as date-wise message recognition, online status hiding and message editing. These facilities are expected to be available to users soon.
